G.Mercury & Cie
Stock exchanges and financial markets

Securities backed by the real economy

African stock exchanges seek quality issuers, while national and regional savings seek investments backed by tangible assets they understand. Once in operation, the project vehicles structured by the firm can issue quasi-equity and project bonds whose cash flows rest on long-term contracts.

CONVERGENCE OF INTERESTS

Connecting national and regional savings with productive infrastructure

01Capital Market

For the stock exchange

Depth and regularity of issuances

A steady pipeline of new issuers backed by audited project companies (SPVs), with issuance volumes expanding methodically as each new tranche of assets enters operation.

02Capital Market

For savers & regional investors

Transparent yield on tangible assets

A long-term investment directly channeled into national industry, energy, or logistics, backed by contracted revenues and served immediately after senior debt.

03Capital Market

For the State

Sovereignty of national savings

National and regional savings productively mobilized in service of strategic domestic infrastructure and industrial assets, with zero recourse to the State budget.

MATURATION SEQUENCE

Issuing once the asset is built and operating

To protect public and institutional savings from construction contingencies, market listing takes place once the dedicated project vehicle (SPV) has entered effective commercial operation and generates verifiable contracted cash flows.

Phase I · Construction

Closed initial financing

Construction risk is borne by the EPC contractor (lump-sum turnkey contract) and initial institutional sponsors.

Phase II · Commissioning

Revenue stabilization

Long-term offtake agreements reach steady-state operation and the vehicle's accounts are certified by statutory auditors.

Phase III · Listing

Market issuance

The vehicle issues project bonds or quasi-equity securities offering regular yield backed by an operating physical asset.
